She previously co-founded The Brag Media, where she launched Rolling Stone and Variety in Australia and New Zealand – both of which were successfully sold in 2024. A multi-award-winning journalist and media commentator, Poppy has been recognised as Music Journalist of the Year at the 2022 Australian Women in Music Awards (AWMA), received the Publishing accolade at the 2023 Mediaweek Next of the Best Awards, and was most recently honoured as Champion of Change at the B&T Women in Media Awards.
