Engagement Manager, Citizens of the Reef
With a background in marketing and communications and post-graduate studies in conservation biology, Nicole combines her talents to mobilise and educate people around the world in citizen science.
Nicole's journey in conservation has taken her across the globe, from studying sea turtle populations in Mauritius to researching whale sharks in the Maldives.
Now, leading the Great Reef Census public campaign and schools program, she mobilises and educates thousands of students and corporate employees across Australia, empowering them to analyse survey images taken from across the Great Barrier Reef and make a meaningful contribution to conservation efforts.
Beyond her environmental endeavours, Nicole is passionate about youth justice and education causes and volunteers her time with the Pyjama Foundation, nurturing young minds and fostering positive futures for disadvantaged children.
