Michael has held leadership roles in Growth, Brand, Communications, Product Management, Customer Experience, Business Transformation and Continuous Improvement with Samsung, Optus, Cochlear and most recently, Guide Dogs. In the role of Vice President, Consumer Marketing in Global Marketing at Cochlear, Michael led the consumer acquisition strategy for more than 30 global markets before managing the integration of three global marketing teams across three continents. As CMO at Guide Dogs NSW / ACT Michael is responsible for awareness, engagement, and advocacy in the pursuit of a world that is inclusive and accessible for everyone with blindness and low vision. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce, an MBA, and is a Certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. He is a current member of the UNSW Marketing Leadership Council.
