Hello. I’m Mat, the newly appointed CEO Asia-Pacific of Mutinex.

I’ve spent my 20+ year career as an advertising and marketing professional who has served as CEO of many multi-national agencies.

Most recently, I was global CEO of Huge a creative consultancy that helps companies grow by increasing the creative capital in their brands and businesses, with an obsession for real-world results.

Before my job at Huge, I was Chairman and global CEO of media agency Initiative.

During my time as global CEO, Initiative was the world’s fastest growing media agency for 4 consecutive years (source: RECMA global media agency growth 17/18/19/20). Over the past few years, Initiative has been named Media Agency of the Year in the US, UK, France, Spain, Latin America and Australia.

Previously, I was Global Chief Strategy & Creative Officer at IPG Mediabrands where I had responsibility for the network’s overall strategic and creative product. I also oversaw IPG Mediabrands’ marketing.

IPG Mediabrands is a member of The Interpublic Group of Companies, listed on the New York Stock Exhange (NYSE:IPG).

Prior to that, I was CEO of UM in Australia (also an IPG Mediabrands company) where the agency became the country's highest ranked and most awarded media agency (source: AdNews Agency Rankings 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014).

UM was named Australia's "Media Agency of the Year" a record four consecutive years. I was named "Agency Head of the Year" by Campaign Magazine in 2013.

In 2014 the agency was named "Global Media Agency of the Year" at the Festival of Media Global Awards in Rome, Italy. This was the first time an Australian agency has received the honour.

In 2015 - my last year as CEO - the Australian Financial Review's BOSS Magazine named UM Australia's Best Place to Work.
