Lizzie Young is a media executive with 25 years' experience spanning the UK, US and APAC markets. As CEO of Commercial Radio & Audio, she leads Australia's peak audio industry body, driving regulatory affairs, audience measurement, demand generation and digital transformation on behalf of 260+ commercial radio stations nationwide.
Prior to CRA, Lizzie served as APAC CEO and Global Growth Officer at social media platform WeAre8. She spent 12 years at Nine, Australia's largest locally owned media company, rising to Managing Director of Local Markets, Group Marketing & Commercial Partnerships. Her earlier career included 12 years in radio at Southern Cross Austereo and Global Radio in London.
Across her career, Lizzie has led teams across content, marketing, sales, commercial partnerships and operations. She has a track record of delivering transformation projects following M&A activity and harnessing emerging platforms and technologies to drive growth.
Lizzie is a former Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed property platform Domain and a Founding Board Director of Future Women, where she continues as an Advisor and Mentor.
