Katie Page is the Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director of Harvey Norman Holdings. From commencing in 1983 when Harvey Norman was a single retail complex in Auburn, NSW, Katie built expertise through the product merchandise, marketing, supplier management, R&D and operational divisions of the company. She went on to join the board in 1987 when Harvey Norman publicly listed. After leading the successful national store expansion within Australia and early international growth into New Zealand in 1997, Page was appointed CEO in 1999.
Page has continued to lead the successful domestic and international expansion of Harvey Norman, now in eight countries, with the first store in Birmingham, England opening in late 2024.
As at November 2024, there are 198 Harvey Norman, Domayne, Joyce Mayne franchised Home & Technology in Lifestyle retail complexes throughout Australia and 119 company owned stores in New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Slovenia, Croatia and England.
Katie’s leadership contribution to Harvey Norman extends beyond the success of the commercial operation. She harnesses the company’s strength, via financial investment, media advocacy, marketing as well as staff and customer engagement, to effect long-term positive change in lives of Australian girls and women in the arenas of employment, education and sport.

Since 2015, Katie Page has personally donated 78 scholarships to Western Sydney University supporting opportunities for women, those from refugee backgrounds and financially disadvantaged, high-achieving women. These personally supported scholarships are in addition to the 29 supported by Harvey Norman Holdings.
Led by Katie Page, in 2024 Western Sydney University launched a first-of-its-kind 10-year development program Harvey Norman Young Women’s Leadership Academy with the Harvey Norman philanthropic donation of $7.9 Million.

As at June 2024, Harvey Norman Holdings Ltd & subsidiaries globally employ over 6500, 44% of these are women. Harvey Norman franchisees employ approximately 9400 employees, combined, each from within their local community. 12% of franchisees are women and 42% of franchisee employees are women. Targets are set around the % of women undertaking the Key Development Program each year (which is the pathway to becoming a franchisee), to drive improved outcomes in gender balance.
