Prior to joining Uber, Joe spent two decades working in strategy, digital and global leadership roles in Paris, London and Sydney.

 

Joe's global experiences include setting up Uber's International Media team across EMEA, LATAM and APAC; establishing a global strategy offering for ZenithOptimedia France; creating Zenith International to service global clients in France; and leading Strategic Governance for Nissan Europe at OMD. While CSO for Mindshare Australia, he created Mindshare's global planning toolkit and successfully pitched to establish a Global Client team servicing Tourism New Zealand from Sydney.

 

Joe was also Chair of the Media Federation of Australia Awards Committee for 5 years, received the MFA Industry Contribution award in 2022 and is a published author in La Publicité à l'Heure de la Data (Advertising in the Age of Data).

 

Before joining the marketing services sector, Joe worked as an Intelligence Officer for a Federal Government intelligence agency - helping to identify and address threats to Australia's national security - providing him with a unique perspective on navigating the complexities of the global stage.
